New T-shirts

Birthdays are always a great time to re-evaluate. Look back, re-fresh and head straight into the next year ahead. I always find the positives, and this year is no different. Sweet Maria’s just turned 32 this March! Seems like the right time to think about who we are, what we do, and where we are headed. Especially after so many small business challenges the last few years. The challenges have given us a greater awareness of who we are and what we do best. Also where we want to spend our time and resources .

For many years, we have stayed away from including copyrighted images on cakes. Much to the disappointment of many potential customers. We remain firm in our choice to not re-produce copyrighted characters and logos. We also do not do, or want to do, 3D cakes and cupcakes as seen on all the cake competition shows. These contestants are all very skilled. But do we need to eat a cake that looks like a suitcase or a breakfast sandwich?

For us, it’s just not important. What is important is high quality ingredients, interesting flavor combinations and a dedication to freshness. We love to decorate cakes, though, but prefer our simple style of swirls, flowers, piping, polka dots, sprinkles and drips. You can see our style throughout this site.

What is important to us is being a part of your lives and celebrations time after time. Our cakes go to all the best parties!
